The Lawrence Jackson Writer’s Award

The Lawrence Jackson Writers’ Award honours the memory of writer Lawrence Jackson. It encourages and promotes original, creative thought in all genres of writing. One award of $500 is given annually. All applicants to the NLAC’s Professional Project Grants Program in the Writing category are considered for the annual award and the winner is chosen by a peer assessment committee.
